About this role
This role sits within the Delivery Management Office (DMO) in our Technology Department that looks after all the Governance for Tech, Tribes, Budget and regulatory reporting.
This is a hybrid role that combines a focus on building data with business intelligence and presenting it with analysis and insights for Tech’s new metrics and tooling to enable delivery.
What you’ll do;
Use yourSQL skills to build Tableau Dashboards for performance monitoring of UK Delivery data, Automated Reporting for Governance reporting and self service performance data tools for UK Delivery in Tech
Create data visualizations from a variety sources to share with the business
Prepare governance material evolving to cover monthly business performance reviews to quarterly Board and regulatory examinations
Collaborate on the DMO data roadmap to ensurewe’re delivering the right changes for our customers and stakeholders across the business
Champion data driven outcomes using models and tools, ensuring practices across UK Tech and the wider business are integrated to optimise and insight
This is a 12 month Fixed Term Contract position and is based in our Nottingham offices (currently fully remote until September 2021). Many of our team have flexible working patterns so we’re open to discuss flexible working arrangements with you.
What we’re looking for
Structured thinking and a rational and inquisitive approach to solving problems using data from a variety of sources and creating custom SQL queries
Ideally you would have experience or knowledge of data presentation using Tableau, however we will provide training as you will need to use this tool for the role
Ability to assemble large, complex data sets that meet functional / non-functional business requirements
Strong build skills; ideally able to build models using SAS, Sheets and/or Open Source tools
Good stakeholder management skills
Support and workcollaboratively with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment
