Velocity Black are looking for a Financial Analyst to join our team. We are looking for a highly ambitious individual with a passion for finance.

We are searching for an experienced UI Digital Designer to join our growing design team to create exceptional human-centered experiences. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing the Velocity Black mobile application and our internal software, Gravity. The candidate will work closely with the Product Manager, Engineering teams and the Creative Director to develop innovative in-app features that will optimize our members' lives.

This is an exciting opportunity to be a crucial member of the team, helping to lead the direction of the world’s best concierge mobile application.

What you’ll do

  • Build upon our existing mobile application to deliver innovative concepts and features to better optimize our members' experience.

  • Develop the user experience and interface of our internal software, Gravity, used by Velocity Black operators to communicate with members. 

  • Create, develop and maintain design systems to ensure consistency and efficiency. 

  • Use Figma, Adobe Creative Suite (including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign), and motion graphics to enhance the mobile app's features for internal presentations. 

  • Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers and wider design teams to ensure the successful implementation of designs to a high standard. 

  • Pay meticulous attention to detail, ensuring that designs are both beautiful and accessible. 

  • Present and explain design concepts effectively to peers and stakeholders.

What we’re looking for

  • You have experience designing mobile apps and complex products, and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional peers and stakeholders. 

  • You have deep knowledge of Figma and are competent across other Adobe applications.

  • Your portfolio demonstrates great visual design, demonstrating your ability to make modern and beautiful mobile and product designs, while also showing great product thinking.

  • You are capable of working independently, staying self motivated and balancing multiple tasks at once.

  • You have the ability to articulate design decisions effectively, and pay close attention to detail.

  • You are comfortable working at speed to deliver fast prototypes/early conceptual work.

Where and how you'll work

This is a permanent position and can be fully remote.

Our hybrid working model offers you the flexibility to work from our offices and from home, when you need to.

We're big on collaboration and connection, and so generally encourage our associates to use our offices on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.

The number of days you spend in the office will usually be led by the type of work you’re doing, and the hybrid working patterns of the people you partner most closely with.
