Operations Change Manager

About this role
This role will be responsible for leading and overseeing the Ops Change & Readiness team within Operations Strategy and enabling them to deliver effective and purposeful change that provides positive and sustainable benefits for Operations.
This includes ensuring that existing change processes and standards are consistently maintained, but also identifying opportunities to further build and develop these processes where appropriate.
The role will also be called upon to lead key focus areas for the Operations LT, working collaboratively with all Operations leaders, to drive their strategic priorities forward and resolve any local issues.
What you’ll do
Overseeing the delivery of a portfolio containing a wide range of changes from complex projects to small improvements and ensuring that each of these efficiently navigate through the change process from assessment to delivery
Leading the team to deliver consistent and effective change processes to ensure there is an accurate view of the changes taking place across Operations, whilst maintaining excellent standards and driving forward continual improvement activity
Evolving the transparency of project reporting, quantifying risks and impacts of projects to be clear how these impact Ops in the short and long term
Support the allocation of work responsibilities across the team to ensure appropriate challenge and stretch opportunities are available to team members,
Acting as a point of escalation for any significant delivery or change issues, working closely with Operational leaders and stakeholders across the business to resolve
Represent the team in Operations and business-wide governance meetings as required
Leading the development of the team and helping to identify development opportunities for team members in order to continue growing knowledge and expertise
Developing the maturity of benefits realisation within the team to ensure the delivery of value can be consistently demonstrated
Develop the Ops Change & Readiness team to further improve processes and outcomes within the team
Oversee and lead the team to effectively assess, allocate, deliver and embed change within Operations
Provide visibility and transparency of the volume and progress of change being delivered across Operations
Partner with teams/departments across Operations and the wider business to deliver valuable and purposeful change
What we’re looking for
An experienced change professional who proactively identifies opportunities to improve the team and implement these opportunities effectively
Develops associates across the team to ensure continuous growth and development
Good stakeholder management skills, building and maintaining strong relationships across the business to support the effectiveness of Operations governance and processes
Sets the vision statement and goals for the team, collaborating with team members where appropriate
Good judgement, knowing when to step in and when blockers need escalating to management. Highlighting potential issues ahead of time and aiming to resolve before the pace of delivery is disrupted.
Results focused; a drive to ensure that the processes you are responsible for remain consistently executed to a high standard and an overall desire to support our intent of landing change successfully
Good communications skills, both written and verbal. You will be comfortable to work with multiple stakeholders, including those at Senior Leadership team level in Operations and the wider business
Where and how you'll work
This is a permanent position based in our Nottinghamoffice.
We have a hybrid working model which gives you flexibility to work from our offices and from home.
We’re big on collaboration and connection, so you’ll be based in our Nottingham office 3 days a week on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.
