The principles that underpin Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) have always been central to Capital One and how it operates. Thinking about the long-term and managing risks are integral to who we are as a business. By actively engaging with all our stakeholders we are better placed to understand how we can do our bit to help make the world a more sustainable place.

ESG provides us with an important tool to understand the myriad ways in which we we are, in the widest possible sense, a responsible company. In how we recruit and retain talent. In the ways in which we design our products and support our customers through their journey with is. And in how we ensure we do everything we can to address societal issues, in particular climate change.
