Making a difference

At Capital One, we believe we can make a difference. We’re committed to bolstering social mobility by working with students to offer career advice, supporting graduate opportunities for those from under-represented groups and investing in areas of economic need. We’re helping to improve number confidence by creating educational materials for schools, and supporting charities and not-for-profits. We also have extensive learning and development opportunities for our associates, including apprenticeships and career switcher programmes. With a strong focus on assisting women and minority ethnic associates into tech roles in which they are currently under-represented.

Our planet

We haven’t just embarked on our sustainability journey — we’ve been working closely with our partners and putting nature at the heart of our thinking for over a decade. We’re committed to reducing greenhouse gas emissions, reducing energy consumption, limiting waste and conserving water. Making a tangible impact comes from initiatives, big and small — as well as the crucial work we do protecting wild places, our Green Team are reducing and recycling waste in our offices, using sustainably sourced paper and volunteering on important environmental projects.
