Capital One UK Earns 2024 Great Place To Work Certification
Employee satisfaction and company culture are extremely important focuses of Capital One UK; it is a company that prides itself on promoting a feeling of belonging, and providing rewarding career opportunities that enable associates to really make a difference through their work.
Capital One UK is pleased to be Great Place to Work certified in 2024!
The certification is a prestigious award based entirely on what current associates say about their experience working at Capital One UK. Its mission is to Be a Force for Good in Lending, and the culture created and how associates work together is a crucial part in working towards this shared goal.
This year, 80% of associates who completed the survey said it’s a great place to work compared to 54% of associates at a typical UK based company. Other standout stats include:
- 92% of associates said that people at Capital One UK care for each other.
- 93% of associates said that they’re given a great amount of responsibility in their roles and career development.
Throughout 2023 there were a number of company wide events that really highlighted the priority the business has on making it the best place for its associates. Events such as the Capital One to Coast Charity Challenge in the summer, a 100km walk from London to Brighton, showed the importance of community to associates. The summer festival brought all associates together to celebrate the year so far, with the End of Year celebration bringing the year to a festive close.
Katy Kasper (she/her), Head of Human Resources at Capital One UK said:
